Hi Everyone, 

Can you believe that the first round of the new M8B is
almost done?? [Ends Aug. 20th]

Wow! Well, obviously, we weren't as bombarded as I
thought we'd be...LOL.

Some of the judges didn't get any nominations...if you
are one of them, please just pick your favorite as the
"Judge's Choice" --but put your name on it. Sensue's
Choice, example. One will work, you don't have to pick
two.

Some, not rules, but considerations of judging.

Obviously, you want to watch every video... I know
that sometimes you don't like the show, but hey...the
video editing may surprise you.

Don't judge based on Vidder, judge on the video
itself. For example, just because a vidder always wins
doesn't mean that you think the video is the best. (We
want the best video)...that goes for me too, okay.
[Just 'cause I nominated a video...if you like another
video better, please pick it. Actually, that goes for
ALL the judges...just because we judge doesn't mean we
get 'extra points', okay?]

As for actually picking the winners, if you get stuck
between a few of them, just think and see if they
truly fit the category that you are judging. Sometimes
you'll see a truly inspiring video that it in the
wrong category...if it doesn't fit the category, it
can't win. Trust your instincts, okay?

As for the awards... um the only thing I ask is that
they are 400 x 400 [600 x 200--for banner ones] or
less. (I don't like huge awards.) Anything in between
is fine with me though...colors, shapes, graphics,
etc. are your choice.

OH...one more thing. I'm going out of town from
19-21st, so I'm not going to be able to shut down the
nomination form... so keep an eye on extra additions,
though I will leave it up to you...if you notice that
it just appeared and don't want to watch it, please
let me know what video you DIDN'T watch...so I can
keep it for the next round.

If you aren't able to view a video [not posted, over
limit,etc.], please tell me.
